I respectfully disagree. I always have viewed Bull as above the mean.
Crappy season. I love Mike D'antoni and all he has done for Michigan State. All of the great yams. But I blame him for this past season. When the team came in ranked 12th to begin the year I said that it was too high. I wasn't expecting this but I think I thought maybe eight wins. I think you set the goals too high. Michigan State lost a lot of players and he must've had some idea of what was left. He probably gave them some rubbish about wanting to make the playoffs. Later, winning the Big Ten championship. Eventually, he probably lowered it to just making a bowl. But it was too late. I think the team already thought of themselves as failures. I am just speculating but that's all I can think of. I thought when they lost the Ohio State game and he said well all the players were up for going for two points. Well, of course they were. Kids are like that. Probably adult players are the same. Anyhow, I thought that was lame when he made that excuse. That was totally on the coaches to use common sense. But he must have SOME talent at least because they played so well against Ohio State and Michigan. I think next year they have a bye their 3rd week. It was supposed to be the first week originally. What a bunch of crap. Well, the big game this year is the second one of the season. They play Western Michigan. Hahaha. Next year he needs to set the bar low. If they exceed expectations great. He better get something out of these four and five star players because he will not see you any more for a long time. Pizza Bowl or bust. I can honestly say that I will not look back and say oh I should've appreciated the Good years. Because I did. Even though the dream season ended in a nightmare with Alabama it was the most fun year I ever remember.
There's plenty of room on the Michigan bandwagon.
On the positive side..... you guys scored as many points this bowl season as last year, heck even matched OSU, and without breaking a sweat. But seriously, OSU's egg layed gets you guys off the butt of alot of jokes by most of the Big Ten.... probably not Mich till we lay our own egg in the playoffs.... but atleast you have gotten there.
Michigan State signing day drama strikes again with DL commit arrest Didn't want to start a 2017 Spartan thread with this article. I didn't read this because it will make me sad.
I don't follow State recruiting but in one of the Mich threads I was following they were talking about State, sounds like they ended on a wimper.... flipped a kid from Purdue and Bowling green. but besides the arrest, they had a player prefer to walk on at NW then take there free ride. Also had a player pick Southern Alabama over them, a player flipped to Rutgers too.... Did sound like they started strong and kept all the players that had committed before the 16 season had started.

Little Brother complex.
Michigan State football fans turn on team, recruiting class, but why?
The Redskins could not have botched things with Kirk Cousins any worse than they did. $44 million guaranteed for two seasons of play.

Mark Dantonio checks in at No. 11 in CBS Sports coach rankings
Is that D'Antonio?
The MSU football coach (Dantonio) spells his name differently than the Rockets basketball coach (D'Antonio). Irregardless, they are both pretty decent coaches albeit not elite level.
Nota Bene: @detteam prefers if it is written D'Antonio.
Perhaps Coach will change his spelling for detteam. By the way, I think the Pistons are thinking about drafting Nota Bene. Darn good player.
