You love him or you hate him?
When he came in the league, there were people saying, he was going to be the next Michael Jordan. Well, not quite but still a good player, talented and ambitious, very competitive. A North Carolina's product. I'm happy for him and I wish him good luck in future adventures. P.S. I recall he got "in a fight" once with Laettner on the plane about a poker game. Not a wishy-washy guy by any means.
This is really sad. Even in a Gatorade commercial, the Pistons are getting punked. View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vhxa5BMfrks
I noticed that the other day. Didn't the Pistons have to sign off on that?
Fairly certain the league owns whether franchises appear in movies or advertisements. Not the same in every sport, but I am 99% certain the NBA is the one who signs off on that stuff.
So the league is against us?
Maybe they hate SVG as much as you do. Doesn't sound implausible, does it?
I think that was actual game footage.
I like Paul George though. I'll like him even more when he's in a Pistons uniform next year.
Beard: Five ways I’d try to fix the Pistons
Stan Van Gundy’s coaching failed the Pistons Someone else's opinion, or did someone here provide their take to this blog?
I like his thought of calling on the Nets to see if they are willing to swap for Lopez for Dre...but we would need another rebounder or PF to complement him though.
I like centers (Love, Cousins, Gasol brothers, Lopez, etc.) that stretch the floor and force the defender out of the paint.
Nice and funny piece. Especially, I liked the part where he is saying that SVG should have played Boban and Ellenson earlier. However, everything he says, is analyzed and overanalyzed by very knowledgeable people in this forum. The only person who needs to be enlightened, I think, is SVG. Or maybe he is....
Good blog. Especially, I liked the statement "Stan is no saint...".
Great observation. Rob Beard didn't really tell us anything that we didn't know. The only novel idea in the entire article was trying to acquire Brook Lopez.
The fact that he couldn't even be bothered to get off his couch to shoot the video tells me how much effort he put into this article.
Everyone is mailing it in this year.
