On the Piston Scoreboard, I always type the visiting team first and the home team second. So you can immediately know who's home without having to look it up. I'm wondering if one of you got tricked cause you predicted the Pistons to lose at home against Toronto and then you predicted Toronto to lose at home to the Pistons the very next game. It's ok if you think that. I just wanted to point that out in case you accidentally got tricked. Remember you can change your score up till tipoff.

And if anybody wants to jump in, just type in your name and your score for the next game. The scoreboard is dropping your worst prediction so your first game will be dropped.

There are two reasons why my prediction was closer than others. The #1 reason (probably 99%) was because it was dumb luck. I think the #2 reason was because I looked at Toronto's previous two games and noticed they had scored 122 and 119 respectively. Wowsers. I noticed their offense was in a serious groove. When I saw that, I immediately jumped up my Toronto score prediction about four points above anybody else. I was pretty confident I was going to come out on top on that end.

The discouraging part is I nailed that game and I'm like only beating Roscoe by 1. I feel like the Piston's shooting lights out for the first quarter only to find themselves up by 1. Grrrrrr!

Hahaha! Naaaa. It's not as hard as it appears. But once you do understand it, then you can see and appreciate the beauty behind it. And I'm not complimenting myself when I say that. I didn't invent the mathematics that drives this scoreboard. That math was discovered 2500 years ago. There is one specific, exact, indisputable, distance between a prediction and the final result for each Piston game. All I'm doing is measuring the exact distance between a prediction and the final result using the Distance Formula. A formula in EVERY Algebra 2 book. And then I am simply telling the computer to add those distances of each game for each person. So I can't take credit for anything.

This had to be one of the top ten dumb ideas I had in 2016. So thankful you guys didn't jump on board out of a sense of duty. I think I'd rather be waterboarded than watch the Pistons right now. I can't believe I'm saying this but I'd rather watch the Lions right now.

Ok. Maybe not the Lions. I'll choose waterboarding instead.
