I completely disagree. That was an open look and poorly defended.
Wide open, for me, doesn't involve a guy closing one step behind. I agree it was poorly defended.
All of the home teams took care of business in today's game 7 contests with the favored Pacers, Thunder and Clippers winning.....as the 1, 2 and 3 seeds prevailed when all three were at one point behind in their respective series.
The Clipper-Warrior late night game was by far the best for those who were snoring when the game ended at 1:40 AM EDT as the Clippers held on to win 126-121
The Warriors had a 8 point halftime lead, but the Clippers woke up in the second half the game went down to the wire with miraculous shots and silly fouls that the refs had no business calling.
Amazing 1st round, especially the western conference. Except Miami, would any team from the EC manage to get two wins in a series against any of the WC playoff teams? Phoenix would have put a quick end to any series against Dogcats, Raps, Hawks, Pacers, Bulls, Wiz or Nets.
I would have enjoyed watching a Heat - Grizz finals.
Gimme Mavs and Raps tonight.
I don't understand why Golden State seems hellbent on firing Mark Jackson. They were absolutely terrible prior to him arriving routinely suiting up 8 guys to play, 6 of whom were from the D League.
Crazy series all around! Steven Adams should get the series MVP for taking Randolph out of the final game. I think a full strength Grizzlies team probably had the best chance of knocking off the Heat in the finals. Still, credit where credit is due: OKC and especially Westbrook played near flawless basketball, and should be tough for anyone that faces them.
Blake Griffin has had an unbelievable season, and seems to have stepped it up in the playoffs. He was unstoppable in the paint last night, no matter who GS threw at him, or what schemes they used to slow him down. Can't wait for round two!

If he is relieved of his duties then the same should be done to Kidd if he should lose today too...but alas both deserve to be retained for getting their teams in the playoffs and to a game seven. Of course George Karl and Lionel Hollins were both let go after getting into the post season last year, so you never know....
if it happens don't know if the Lakers fans would be satisfied with him....or the Piston fanbase.
Jackson will be next coach of Indiana Pacers ....Vogel is out regardless unless Pacers win title
If so, jackson MAY be in New York
If isiah is in Detroit, here comes George karl
Steve Kerr takes knicks or lakers job
Hollins will be in Golden state
There will be 8 coaching changes by next NBA draft. Count on it
Because he is a bad coach? He is just like Brooks - he doesn't seem to notice which line ups work and he can't run a play outside of a post up and a high pick and roll.
Warriors coach Mark Jackson forces reassignment of assistant Brian Scalabrine - Yahoo Sports
Sounds like ownership and the coach don't see eye to eye, of which this is just one example.
The owner and Jackson.
Terry Stotts seems to be doing a good job running the Blazers.
Clippers looked invincible tonight. Postgame TNT interview of DeAndre Jordan....he did a great Barkley impersonation.
Road dogs take game 1 in the "elite eight matchups.
Pacers led for about a few seconds 30-28, and that was it. The Wiz led by double digits most of the game as Roy Hibbert once again all but disappeared from the arena. It's not over yet, but if the Wiz can continue to win on the road, they may be in the EC finals against the.......Nets. I only say that because the Nets swept the Heat this season and the Heat have been idle for over a week
The Clippers spotted the Thunder a 16-10 lead, and then raced by them to take a 39-24 first quarter lead and never looked back. They led by as many as 29 points as CP3 set the stage hitting 4 threes in the first quarter and hit his first 8 threes in a row. The game was over the first three minutes of the third quarter.
The only Clipper who didn't have a good game was Deandre Jordan who was held to only 7 pts, 5 boards and no blocks. He was 1-8 from the FT line as Brooks tried to employ the hack-a-Jordan down 25??
The Wizards blew an opportunity to go 2-0 launching 3-4 threes in the last 2 minutes when they were down just 3. I veteran playoff team would have gone inside when it was that close and gone for two. The Pacers missed as many shots as the Wizards did the last few minutes and now the credit will go to Roy "Prince Fielder" Hibbert as rescuing the Pacers from a possible 0-2 trip to DC. Will he respond in the next game or disappear in?
Would love to have seen the Pacers still lose so that he could have said he did his part and the rest of the team sucked. Paul George missed a ton of shots.
If that is indeed the owner, then Jackson was fired right then ....even though they were only down 2 in the second quarter.
Domination by the Pacers. Looking like early season form. That fishing trip that PG and RH took must have really set their minds straight.
Not sure how many of you witness the Mothers Day miracle at Staples this afternoon, but after falling down 22 in the first quarter it appeared that me and Mrs Dre were going to have a bad moms day. But the Clips who trailed the whole game did not lead until it counted with 1:25 left in what was possibly the last NBA game to be played at Staples Center this season. It was a must win game for the Clippers who started the game funky after Blake Griffin got punched in the nutz with less than a minute into the game. Every Clipper player must have felt it as it took them a whole quarter to get over it and trailed 32-15 at the end of one.
The Clippers could never get the score any closer than 8 the rest of the second and 3rd quarters and finally woke up midway through the 4th after tralier earlier in the quarter by 16. 40 points from the bench today (18 a piece from Crawford and Collison) and only 3-21 from beyond the arc. They got nothing from Barnes 0 and Redrick 6 points today. Collison was spectacular in the 4th quater
With Magic deciding to attend the game despite vowing to never attend a Clipper game while Sterling was still the owner. With past weeks events, he sat right in front of Adam Silver and both got cheers on the jumbotron along with Rhianna and Floyd Merryweather jr... Marky Mark also got a big cheer when he and his lady showed up on the kiss cam an obliged the crowd with a big smooch... Justin Bieber got bigger boos than some of the Thunder.
My second favorite team behind the Pistons.............
