    I'd rather him than Woodson.

I would never go for the second biggest cookie on the plate...
That seems to be the Piston's idea behind hiring coaches though...

Anyone watching Grizzlies-Thunder game? Incredible finish. Great plays by both teams, including 4-point play by Kevin Durant with 13 seconds left to cut a 5-point lead to one and a tip-in by Kendrick Perkins at the buzzer to send the game into overtime.

Man, it would be cool if the Pistons could play this type of basketball again at this time of the year.

The Grizzlies seem to have found a rhythm with Taytay on the bench. Prince with 0 points in game 1 and 2 points in game 2....relegated to 14 minutes tonight.

Playoff basketball at it's best!!!......Memphis dodges a bullet surviving Durants' 4 point play near the end of regulation and another road dog temporarily grabs home court advantage.

Durant is a freakin' beast. Can you be the league MVP and still be under-rated?

Great game. That was pretty intense for a first rounder. Memphis could have used some more pump faking in regulation and it might not have got to OT.

I like a lot of the teams in the playoffs, but I think Memphis is the team I root for above all others.

    Great game Zach Randolph.

For those who had to get their beauty sleep, Final >>>Clippers 138, Warriors 98. The Clippers led wire to wire and the difference between game one when they lost by 4 points and game 2 where they won by 40 was Blake Griffin. Blake played 19 mins, had 16 points and 6 fouls. Game 2 , 29 mins, 35 points and no fouls....

The Clippers second unit was also huge in the second quarter, extending an 11 point 1st quarter lead to a 26 point half time lead. The bench scored 59 points and the 3 point differential was 24 points. The Clipper free throw enigma's Griffin and Jordan were 16-18 from the free throw line..

The Clipper point guards CP3 and Collison each scored 12 points and dished out 10 assists. I am sure the Pacers could use Danny Granger as he was 6-8 with 15 points in 18 minutes.

Not sure what will happen Thursday, but we know the physical play will continue and by game 5 someone is going to be nursing and injury and a couple of players will be thrown out.

The Warriors played as if they settled for the split and didn't put forth an effort until the 4th quarter. They all flew home to attend an Easter service conducted by coach Rev Mark Jackson,,,when maybe they should have stayed in LA Saturday night and attended a local resurrection service.

It's a long ways away from '89 and '90, but the Clips last night were the most Bad-Boys-ish team I've seen in the 21st century NBA. From Doc on down they just beat up on GS and then smacked them again if they complained (although Curry flinging his mouthguard in the general direction of Doc was pretty nice). I'm definitely setting the DVR for the next game.

    Go Grizz!

In terms of physicality, Draymond Green, Maurice Speights and Jermaine O'Neal did their share of smack down too......and they will probably throw out more once they get back to the Oracle Arena on Thursday . The questions is will Doc get out in the floor and tussle with them like he almost did with O'Neal last night.

I'm a little surprised the league hasn't upgraded a couple of fouls to flagrants - I think it was Barnes on a Curry drive and the Speights' elbow to Davis. I was also surprised that Jackson wasn't out on the floor getting his two cents in when Doc went after O'Neal. A coach ought to be able to talk to his team and to the refs, but going after an opposition player like that seems out of bounds to me.

Griffin probably put on one of the best playoff performances this year so far. He was unstoppable. GS seemed to give up about 15 minutes into the game. This is a dogfight though, can't wait for the third game.

I had forgotten how entertaining basketball can be when there are two good teams on the floor.

After watching the Pistons all year it seems like every team has 6-7 guys on the court at a time who can hit 3's.

I'm Grizs and Raptors fan in this post season.
By whom Amir was groomed this way ? Sent Drumond down there this summer pleeeeeeeeease.
What has Casey done to get these young scorers like Terrence Ross, DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry together in harmony ?

The Wizards are the real deal. It would be nice to see them get to the ECF....

They're kinda what we'd hoped the Pistons would be this season.
Another team taking that step into competitive basketball.

Yeah, that would be crazy. Way too high of expectations to put on our team.
