Are you saying you could perceive a difference of 3/1,000ths when comparing two items, one .526 in (length, weight etc.) and the other .523?

    I know I couldn't.

As I've said before, you guys don't have enough to do.

I hope you don't treat your spouse to the same degree of analysis. Or, perhaps she gives you the same treatment!

I'm surprised that some of you say that OT is a priority. IMO, it's definitely a luxury. Our O-line was very solid last year. Could it be upgraded? Sure. But it's far down my list of needs.

On offense alone I'd put WR, TE, C & G ahead of OT. On D I'd put S, OLB & DE as bigger priorities. We also need a kicker, but that come until the late rounds, UDFA or FA.

They might laugh at us if we take a WR first. There they go again. Just can't get over that WR man love.

If the Lions were worried about getting laughed at, they would be in HUGE trouble.

As far as value @ the 10, I agree with you. I'd just hate to see us go that route with so many bigger holes.

We didn't lose a single game last year because of our O-Line. The same can't be said about our receivers or secondary.

Let's just say that I'm hoping the first 9 picks play out in a way that the BPA @ 10 isn't an OT. I'd rather see us trade down if that's the case.

Yes no hubris, W Clay Ford finally yielded to the deep 6.
I think his greatest contribution was paying off the Silverdome so we could get box seat money.
    Oh and the hospital.

Golden Tate agrees to five-year contract with Lions | FOX Sports on MSN

Finally another target that Stafford can throw the rock to..and can hold on to it...

Now that the owner has passed on...it's time to consider what we know about his successor.
The new CEO of the Lions is Martha Ford, the widow of William Clay Ford.
Bill Ford Jr. will continue on as Vice-Chairman.

I wonder what this means for the operation of the team.

Not sure if it will make any difference...she will either run the team in the same capacity as her husband did...thru Bill Jr, or be smart like Mrs. Davison did and sell the team.

I'm hopeful that if she sells...it moves much quicker than the sale of the Pistons.
The Pistons spiraled downward during that time.
I'm hopeful that if she sells...the team stays in Detroit...
I just don't like the sound of Los Angeles Lions...
I feel that Sr. had more influence than Jr. ...right up to the end.
I hope that Jr. knows what he's doing if he does become an influence.
I've just seen too many wives actually take over full-heartedly after the husband's death.

Nice pickup of Golden Tate. He will make Stafford and Johnson look even better.
