As much as I like the Spurs, the Grizz have a better chance of beating Miami than San Antonio. The only way to beat Miami is to force them to become jump shooters. Grizz are better defensively than Spurs. They have a better paint enforcer and better perimeter defenders. Green can't defend Wade and Leonard can't keep up with LeBron. Which means, they'll have to double-team and that's when Miami kills you with drives or wide open shooters. Grizz on the other hand have a Gasol clogging the lane. Allen can defend Wade as well. Their fate hinges on how much Tay gets distracted by LeBron's muscles.

The Pacers are probably the most capable team of beating Miami, if the refs allow it.

The Pacers indeed can beat Miami, and have done so this year fairly convincingly. George is a rising superstar, Hill is playing great, and West, and to a lesser extent Hibbard, is as solid a guy as you could want - doesn't make mistakes, plays serious D, and can score. LBJ will have to guard either West or Hibbard, which leaves no one with enough height to match up against George. I'm not counting Miami out - they've got gears they don't even know they have, but Indy can give them a run for the money.

And the Grizz can too if they can make it by the Spurs. Nobody other than Indy has two big men who can match up against Gasol and Randolph. Pops will need to devise some devious help schemes to match up, but of course if anyone can do that, he's the guy.

Pacers vs Grizz Finals would be ideal.

Wade is hobbling, but he will play when it counts. The question is can he play 10 more games and be effective enough on defense to stop the Pacers and/or the Spurs/Grizz?

Still have to wonder if Rose would have made a difference in the current series. That selfish coward refuses to give it a go even though an injured David Lee returned to play for the Warriors even when he was ruled out for the playoffs after getting injured in the Warriors first game.

Seven games, no game won by more than five points. Average score 53-51.

Of course it would be the lowest rated series since late 70's when the Sonics beat the Bullets beat the Sonics in 1978 and then the Sonics came back to beat the Bullets the next year in 1979. In the modern times I guess it was the Sours sweep of the newly crowned king of BB Lebron's Cavs 07.

Miami will be ready for the Pacers this year. Like it or not, Spo is a good coach. They are tearing apart the Bulls. It took one game for them to figure out how to completely stop them on defense, and shred them on offense.

Also, the only team you don't want jump shooting against you is Miami and Golden State.

Tay the Grizz leads the charge as Memphis takes out OKC. No Westbrook, no Harden, no return to the WC finals.

Didn't help that Durant was 5/21 shooting as he played all 48 minutes and missed a running jumper with less than 10 seconds on the clock that may have tied the game after the Thunder fought it out until the end trimming a 12 pt lead with less than 4 minutes left down to 2. He had time to drive and get a possible and one to win the game but chose the jumper instead.

Derek Fisher looking for a chance to get ring # 6 was 3 for 11 from the field....all shots were outside the arc.

I can't believe how long it took the refs to review Nate Robinson's foul on LeBron late in the 4th(?) to see if it was a flagrant when he accidentally whacked him in the face after he had already fouled him across the arms. Can't they just use a little common sense and move the game a long?

Is it me or does Thunder coach Scott Brooks, remind you of Robert "Barretta" Blake...(aka Mickey on The little rascals)

Rip Hamilton looked pretty good the last couple of games. I wouldn't mind seeing him back in a Pistons uniform helping out the younger guys.

Do you mean assistant player coach?
Rip's 35 and he mentioned in the post game comments that he could play until he is 40 like Reggie Miller.

The Pistons getting Rip Hamilton back would set the franchise back another several years. We have moved on from that mistake.

It'll be interesting to see who goes further after leaving the Pistons. Tay or CB. CB made it 6 games into the conference finals once.
