We should hire flip saunders to shore up the pistons defense...

I'm posting this in the Lions thread and not the eagle thread because I want to show by way of comparison the Eagles owner and the Lions owner.

I know the Lions problems at coach and the players and everything IT ALL STARTS AT THE TOP.
    ALL STARTS AT THE TOP!

I know the Eagles have not won a Super Bowl with owner Lurie in 20 years but they have a chance with Lurie. They were in one and one lots of playoff games too.. And I feel this is why they have a much better chance than the lions of going in the future.

I just never saw a ford doing an interview and talking about League issues. He dodges a bullet on the foles question but at least he is very honest. He is a good guy and an involved owner. AT LEAST HE IS TRYING HIS BEST TO WIN A SUPER BOWL!!! The team isn't just a tax write off like some teams we know... The Lions are very talented. If patriots owner Kraft took over I bet they would win a Super Bowl in the near future. would win a Super Bowl in the near future

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is a headache in the locker room, according to NFL Network analyst Heath Evans.

The former NFL fullback told radio station Detroit Sports 105.1 FM that three Lions players told him when he was working their games this season that Suh was difficult.

"The consistent message that came out of there is that Suh was uncontrollable and that he would constantly do things to kind of show his power over (former coach) Jim Schwartz, whether it was team meetings, showing up late, or whatever it may be," Evans said. "When you don't put players in line, I don't care how great they are."

Evans said Suh was a problem because he did whatever he wanted.

"The bottom line is he would just do things, whether it was showing up for a meeting late, or little different antics to kind of let the team know. ... it was more or less Suh just trying to show his dominance, his power," he said. "That he was basically untouchable and he could basically do what he wanted to do."

The Lions fired Schwartz at the end of the regular season and recently hired Jim Caldwell as head coach.

There have been reports that the Lions may try to lock Suh into a salary cap-friendly long-term deal. He is due to count $22.4 million against the cap this year.

Great Super Bowl if you are Seattle fan, but if you were a neutral fan -- like I was -- this was about as bad as it could possibly get.

Denver played their worst game of the season...Seattle played their best.
The story was Bronco turnovers, missed tackles, and lack of penalty calls on Seattle.
    Manning looked awful...Wilson looked smooth.

Things like yards...time of possession, and 1st downs were close.

Former Lion Cliff Avril: "This is amazing. It's what we worked for and why we play this game. I went from 0-16 to a champion.

    Congrats to Cliff !
On the Suh thing it's rarely what the first guy said. CJ Mosley came in the next day and said he saw none of that. My guess is Suh had a few moments. But it wasn't intentional subversion.

But then Cliff would have been sitting there with more money and still watching on TV with the rest of us.....

You'd think so Dre...but he may have been the difference maker/leader that could've put us in the playoffs...and then maybe......:)

After seeing the 20th reference to Johnny Manziel being 5' 11 3/4" tall...I wondered what was the big deal.

Apparently...it's been since back in the 50s...that a QB was drafted in the 1st round that was under 6 feet tall.........
