Darth, I hope the Eagles go at least 8-8...I think they'll be ok....
Detroit's youngest player is rookie offensive tackle LaAdrian Waddle, who turned 22 on June 21. He has rookie offensive guard Larry Warford beat by three days.
The Lions have aged slightly in the past year, after averaging 26.93 years per player after cut day in 2012. That was third.
San Diego went 7-9 last year as the NFL's oldest team, also at an average age of 27.15. Atlanta (13-3), Detroit (4-12), Arizona (5-11) and Chicago (10-6) rounded out the top five.
From a divisional standpoint, I'm curious as to who you guys see as the Lons greatest for over the last 50 or so years. I guess Um asking which team do you hate the most?
I suppose the right answer is the Bears or Packers but the team I grew up despising was the Vikings I grew up in the late 60's early 70's when the Lions seemed to always come in 2nd place to them. I hated Bud Grant. Fran Tarkenton was so slippery.
I actually liked the Packers ( bought a helmet of theirs) because I liked the colors and Bart Starr and company.
But the Lions lost every game to the Vikings for years. They always had " our" number. So with the 2013 regular season only a day away Im asking who is YOUR public enemy #1 between the:
Interestingly, in the Eagles case (yes of courseIm going THERE) the team that the fans are known to hate the most in their division between the Redskins, Cowboys, and Giants is the Cowboys. But if you were to go into the locker room and asked whom they hated the most my understanding is the Giants.
My guess is that the team the Lions players hate the most is the bears.

Yea...make your predictions. I like what this guy has to say.
Lions at 28th should be at about 4-12 again...
Packers at 5, Chicago at 15 and Vikes at 18 sound about right.

Losing starts early and often with our schedule.
ALL-CAPS!! NICE TOUCH!! THAT MAKES YOUR PICKS SEEM MORE EMPHATIC!!
Vikes at Lions
Vikes had powerful draft but lost some depth when they jumped up into the 1st rnd. QB Ponder proved functional last year and Jared Allen won't meet Jeff Backup for 1st time in 6 yrs.
Stafford looked bad in preseason so I don't know what is up.
Defense looked hellalious in preseason forcing many turnovers.
Ball better roll our way or Vikes are off and rolling.
Vikes 28 - Lions 16
Honestly, I was close to TFD, (24-21) was my guess, but since he said it and
(A) I don't want to copy him
(B) if HE predicted it then it must be wrong
So my official guess for the record is :
Lions 17- Vikings 14.
I'll go with:
since the game is in Detroit...LIONS 28, VIKINGS 14
only the freekin Lions!!!!!! no TD cuz of a penalty on Suh!! Stafford throws interception!!! Unbelievable~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
its like watching the 3 stooges!!!!!!!!!!!!
only the Lions, part 3: they fumble at the goal line- and STILL get the touchdown!!!!!
It is the same ole' Lions, I'm afraid to say. Hope they can avoid screwing up the second half...
Lions lookin good...except for....................
1. personal fouls.
2. dropped balls.
3. poor play from the TE.
4. givin up the big play.
5. snake bit...
6. completing the "process"
7. fumbled FG snaps.
8. stupid penalties.
9. two tone blue jerseys (what's up with that)
10. Stafford passes tipped at the line.
11. Dropped potential interceptions.
These Vikings look terrible...yet the Lions look like THE LIONS..........
so.......we should lose
