Interesting...the Lions took in 248 million in Revenue...and lost 3.5 million dollars.
The Cowboys made 250.7 million dollars last season...wonder what their revenue was???

    Fine by me.
I want owning the Lions to be as "painful" as possible for the Ford family.
...It's way past the due date for these jackasses to sell the team to a WINNING ownership group.
The city of Detroit and Lions fans deserve better!

With all the trouble NE Pats have had this year not to mention drafting in high 20's for a decade, they haven't missed a beat !

Brady made the Eagles corners and defense in general look stupid. Have fun. But who cares? it is the preseason. At least it was a good dose of reality. I thing Good quarterbacks are going to carve up both of our teams up like Thanksgiving Turkeys. Facing Rogers twice a year should be a picnic for your guys. Not! But no worries. My team gets Eli Manning and RG 3 twice. Uggh!

Kevin Haslam Oline 6'5" 304 lb

Amid the drafted and undrafted rookies that participated in the May minicamp held by the Raiders, a number of more veteran players were also given a chance to tryout. One of those tryout players was Kevin Haslam – a 6'5" 304 lb offensive lineman out of Rutgers.

Haslam showed enough in the minicamp that the Raiders signed him to the roster and he has been with the team in OTAs, making a push to make the final squad.

Haslam was an undrafted free agent in 2010 and was signed to the Jaguars in camp and made the final squad as an UDFA which speaks to his skill and drive.

He suffered a hand injury in 2010 and then a torn MCL in 2011 ending on IR both seasons. He was released by the Jaguars in March of 2012.

Haslam is athletic enough to play in the zone blocking scheme that the Raiders are re-installing this year. He can play both tackle and guard and has good size.

The thing is, that loss is a minor tax writeoff for them.

If you really want to cause them pain, you have to keep going after their reputation, not their money. They have FU money.

If you are the only NFL owner that manages to lose money; your brand is going to suffer.
I think that given the amount of Superbowls that the Ford family has brought to the city of Detroit, their reputation speaks for itself.
I'm someone that tends to "vote with my wallet". I'll never understand why Lions fans continue to "vote" for the Fords year after year.

    I marched when Barry marched.
    ...long before Millen.

I can't get down with people who say that "Barry quit on Lions fans".
IMO - The Fords flat-out robbed us of about 3 more good years of watching Barry through their absolute mis-management of the franchise.

    I'm in my 40s.
ONE playoff win in my ENTIRE LIFETIME.
I used to love watching football.
The Fords ruined it for me.

    I couldn't agree more.

Barry, and for me, the disrespect of Herman Moore was huge. When they went all "West Coast Offense," and refused to throw to Moore for the first down, and instead tried for the miracle pass to Jonny Morton who was triple covered... I couldn't watch any more.

I finally gave up on them as you know. If anyone asks me, I can tell them that I remember exactly where I was when that one win happened. In my lifetime:

    One Haley's comet appearance

    One president assassination

    One first love

    One Detroit Lions playoff win.

    Or put another way:

    In my lifetime

The Red Wings won four Stanley Cups

The Pistons won three NBA Championships

The Tigers won two World Series.

The Lions beat the Cowboys in a playoff game on January 5, 1991.

Even after all these years, if I saw Scott Mitchell crossing a street, I'm not completely certain that I'd swerve to avoid him.
    ...same with Wayne Fon-tez.
