Is this for the dual golds in curling?

For beating USA Men's Hockey. No other medal means as much as getting a gold in Men's Hockey. Then Women's Hockey.

We could get zero other medals at the Winter Games except those two (we don't have the Men's gold yet!) and everyone would be ok with that.

If there is such a thing as the delusion of national pride, it's revolves around Hockey in Canada.

I think there is a bit of delusion here on the PF as well. :-)

Perhaps; but, my take is that Carlisle was the opposite of Daly's understanding of class, and this was always an aspect that the latter never forgot. Sometimes it takes a mature understanding when your beginning came from losing.

Carlisle always had a stone face etched in a permanent smirk, that said "when you look upon me, it is down from below." Very much like the Kevin Spacey ethos, that always had a certain and continuous structural substrate echoing a similar observation: "I'm the smartest and most perceptive fellow you will ever come across."

I don't get this whole Putin thing. I assume he was in the news recently. I don't follow the news at all.

I welcome a new cold war. I am sure Sylvester Stallone and Dolph Lundgren feel the same.

Instead of Jimmer, I wouldn't mind trading up with our 2nd round draft pick to nab Stauskis.

Jokes aside, we are already turrrrible on defense and he would give us much needed floor spacing with his 3pt shooting. Think about it.

You're right ...of course, but I just feel the need to make a Jimmer post every once in awhile.

We already have terrible defenders who could spread the floor (datome for example). May as well give him a chance since we're already paying him.
