Imagine if it was Stuckey that collided into him instead of Wesley Matthews... :cold:

Would he have broken his foot if we drafted him?

He would have broken it while attempting the wall test.

This is just proof that Terry Stotts has an agenda against winning.

I can't believe another .. ANOTHER Blazer's player is injured.

I remember saying something about "Injury prone" in the "Who should we draft" debates... I'm glad.

And would Burke have just broken his finger if we had drafted him?

No guarantee that Rondo makes a comeback this year at all.

Or perhaps he is back for game #1 of the regular season and puts up MVP numbers and someone regrets dropping him from his fantasy keeper team... :stirthepot:

I never have been a great fan of rondo.....

but lets see if he comes back from injury...

lets see how he does without all the all stars to feed the ball to.....

The guy who wrote this article is as bad as us trying to trade our 12th 13th and 14th player for the LJ's of the world.....

No. He's without Pierce and KG. The team is bad. And I went through this last season with Rose. I carried a guy all year who didn't play one game.

Rondo will be worth having next year. Maybe.

Did Rondo have his leg amputated or did he travel back in time to 1978 to have his surgery?

Why do people seem to think he won't recover?

The recovery time on this sort of injury is typically 12 months if everything goes great in rehab.

Since Rondo is Boston's last great asset, I can't see them rushing him back to play on a team that probably won't make the playoffs.

Actually, being the crafty General Manager that I am, I snagged Rondo last year after the M-waves dropped him. He held down my I.R. spot the entire season and he ended up getting himself a ring for his troubles.

The Squirrels have kicked him to the curb this year, partially due to some of the reasons that Roscoe mentioned.
The main reason though is that Ainge has absolutely no reason to play him this year. The Celts are in full-blown TANK mode and Rondo dropping dimes kills that business strategy.
Me thinks Rondo will sit out until a week before the deadline OR possibly the entire season.
(...December is the soonest possibility but still a long shot IMO.)

I am guessing that maybe a bottom tier team will pick him up and hold him, hoping for a payoff next year. That's the nice thing about Keeper. You can play the long game.

That said, you might hold him all year, he won't play, and the guy with him will not want to "keep" him because of the risk profile. That's what makes Keeper leagues interesting.

depends; I had that same injury and was back after 7 months; others take 9 months, others more (D-Rose). It really goes down to how your knee responds, more than anything else. Rehab can only do so much if your knee gets inflamed over and over again.
