Michigan State will be scary good when they get healthy. UM probably isn't as good as MSU when teams are both at full strength. UM's guard play is excellent, but I think they will struggle in the paint, defensively and offensively, come tournament time. MSU was missing a lot of rebounds yesterday. MSU has the better chance in the tourney. I am glad UM is racking up conference wins as the back end of their conference schedule is a bear.

Did Stauskus' double-hand kiss at the end of the game to MSU fans mean "This was my last appearance at The Bres" ?

Yea...he was hot-dogging to the student section.
I don't like that kind of behavior.
That team (coach) will make em pay.

    He was just showing respect.

Man is his j pure. It's bordering on perfection. Redick-like.

They should jump to at least # 12 this week even with 4 losses...in front of both Wisconsin and Iowa......MSU will probably stay in the top 8...

Well, as Coach Bellien said " Rankings dont matter now-Its Big 10 season". LOL A GREAT game , so great, my stepfather called me while I was recording it. Harris can be the real deal if he stays healthy. And it definetly matters that Dawson and Paybe didnt play. MSU will play in Final 4 this year. NO DOUBT

Earlier this year, I told everyone M was a 'better' team without McGary this year. He came in the season out of shape and full of himself and it has been been documented from last year that he has some maturity issues(he was 20 years old by end of his freshman year-) All M had to do was tell Levert that he is not Gary Grant and that the star of the team was Stauskus. Now if Robinson steps up his game (see Levert ball hogging). M will make a good tourney run.

McGary was out of shape because of the back issue. Robinson is what he is.

In today's new AP poll, the Wolverines jumped from 21st to 10th.....MSU dropped from 3rd to 7th

I was hoping Darth would complain about MSU being ranked above UM...especially after that loss. :)

Huge road win at #15 Iowa last night for Sparty even though they are not at full strength. Michigan's record (15-4) is what has them below MSU (18-2). I doubt Drath even knows that it is basketball season right now...

Have you ever heard of March Madness, my friend? Higher rankings mean playing closer to home and playing weaker opponents in the Big Dance.

I know they didn't win against Izzy ! They jumped out 10-0 then Spart caught them at 15-15. As M just looked dizzy and confused as they stopped shooting while trying to run some sort of offense. That's when I left BuffWildWings.

rankings dont do that...seedings do. The top four ranked teams arent neccasarily going to be the top 4 seeds....especially in January.

They won tonight, but that sloppy ending would have cost them playing vs a better team. Five turnovers and five missed free throws in the last 3 minutes.

Tough loss to IU today in their gym. I hate when UM or MSU lose to IU and that pygmy coach. Wasn't gonna last forever for UM after winning 10 in a row. Bad weekend for both the Spartans and Wolverines.
