MSU landed 6'4" 210# dual-threat 2013 QB Damion Terry (Erie, PA) today. I hope Roushar figures out what to do with him by the time he gets here.

He only passed for 127 yards per game.
He weighs only 195 pounds in that 6'4" frame............

Reggie Wayne has been practicing....................with Drew Stanton.........

''I'm moving around, can you believe that? It's the first time in 11 years.'' Wayne said, drawing laughter. ''My game plan is the same whoever throws the ball -- catch and make something happen with it. I met Drew Stanton, I know that guy.''

I can see it now........Colts draft Andrew Luck and he has some bad luck...........and Stanton gets the call...:)

Cousins to Washington. Career backup to Robert Griffin. Bummer.

Kinda like........."Brady to New England. Career Backup to Drew Bledsoe. Bummer"

I like this pick.......We'll just see how good these two are.

There's been a TON of buzz on ESPN about the drafting of Cousins by Washington.

A lot of the talk centers on the NEW QB controversy. Many are asking why draft another QB?
-Why...when you traded away many picks to get RGIII?
-Why...when there are soooo many other needs.

Shanahan basically told Cousins that he couldn't pass him up in the draft.
-He was only their 3rd pick in the draft.

    My questions are ?

Will Cousins be able to sit quietly on the bench at first, or will he really want to compete for the starting job?
-His whole leadership personality would seem to indicate no.........
Will there be competition in camp for the starter's job?
-I'm sure that Cousins expects that there will be.....
Will RGIII react negatively when benched in favor of Cousins this season?
-I'm sure that RGIII expects to be the starter......

Stay tuned............Nemo has a prediction about this one...............go green....:)

Very seldom is a rookie looked at as a leader..... Very seldom is a backup QB looked as a leader.... If they drafted him to be a leader, they are really hoping for a rare feat... wasted pick, and if not... then they have a bust for a number 2 pick.

Far worse mistake then the lions taking another WR, atleast you play mulitple WR's at the same time.

I believe this team expects their rookie QB to be the starter this season.
He better be ready to provide a leadership role.
With all the draft picks they lost to get him,
he'd better be able to walk on water.

he is insurance. The guy to hold the clip board. But he will get a shot. It only takes one hit and RG's backup comes in. The move was kind of idiotic...but also kind of brilliant.

Backup quarterbacks are supposed to be quiet and let the #1 do his thing. Cousins is humble. He will hold back. But it will be sad if he never gets a chance. But quarterbacks taken after round 1 hardly ever become stars.

Best wishes, Kirk. Thanks for everything. You are a classy person.

Yes, it does look like a very tough schedule. But with a great defense Michigan State can overcome the obstacles. However, they will need a quarterback to lead them. It all comes down to Maxwell in my opinion. I haven't heard anything bad about him yet but I haven't really heard anything impressive either. I would MUCH rather they beat Boise State than Michigan if I could choose only one. I am not sure they will be either one. I
