Yep, I'm not saying a thing. U of M could take the next one although I'm pretty sure it won't be anything like this one. Sparty made a very strong statement. A proud day for Sparty fans. Which leads me to a maybe not so smooth segue. Really an opportunity to brag about my daughter, if you will indulge me. On Friday, she was accepted to attend the University of Florida. She will most likely become a baby Gator this fall. That school is pretty selective. She was offered a $30,000 scholarship to Michigan State and $42,000 to Arizona State. So we are very excited for her. It was no secret I wanted another Spartan in the family but it looks like I will need to buy myself some Florida Gator stuff! Damn, though. They wear the Boise State blue and orange.
Back when Michigan had one loss...I figured they'd end up with at least two. The Breslin is always mean to the Wolverines.
That's the million dollar question. The other schools let her know weeks ago and the scholarships came about a week or so later. But Florida let everyone know on Friday wether they got in. Those out of state tuition costs are like 4 over times as much. But my kids have no desire to spend college in Idaho and I don't blame them. This place is downright ignorant!! Anyhow, Florida claims the average grade point coming in is 4.1 and I don't know where they get that. My kid "only" has a 3.85 and her standardized test scores and a really nice portfolio. I wasn't even sure she would get in. So whereas the other schools really would like her to attend I don't know what Florida will do for her if anything, but they will let people know in a month.
