In addition to the loose ball rundown, he had two impressive put backs.
N Stauskas 1-8
Crean feeling Super Bowl pressure from wife Harbaugh.
Michigan survives a tough game with OSU to win in OT 76-74. The Wolverines won the ot 4-2 as neither team wanted to score.
The Wolverines could not stop the Buckeyes inside game as every time Tim Hardaway would hit a three ball, the buckeyes would hit a matching three or get an offensive rebound and a put back. Hardaway hit six threes
just win !
I don't see why they keep going to a step-back 25-foot fade-away when they have 20 seconds to get a good look. Yea, Burke is a stud, but that's the best shot you can get with the game on the line? As Bill Walton used to say, "take it to the hole, big fella."
Will the Pistons draft a Wolverine this year?
Current Michigan draft status:
#12 - Glenn Robinson III
#21 - Trey Burke
#25 - Tim Hardaway Jr.
Current lottery pick standings:
2. Washington 1 GB
3. Orlando 2.5 GB
3. Cleveland 2.5 GB
5. New Orleans 3.5 GB
6. Sacramento 4.5 GB
7. Phoenix 5 GB
8. Toronto 6 GB
9. Detroit 6.5 GB
10. Minnesota 8 GB
11. Dallas 8.5 GB
12. Philadelphia 10 GB
13. LA Lakers 11 GB
14. Portland 13.5 GB
There are no runaway lottery "winners" this season. With 33 games remaining, there is still a chance for some movement. At this point, though, it appears that the Pistons will snatch up another player before the Michigan players are drafted.
Might boost attendance. Something to think about for the organization.
That was the main selling point of the Mateen Cleaves pick in my opinion. That draft didn't really produce anyone worth getting excited about.
He's still working at the palace though with his insightful tidbits.
The potential is there for Glenn Robinson III, but not sure if he ready to go this year. Also he appears to have disappeared the lsst 2 games..when they needed his input.
I'd be upset too if I were next to Kentucky.
That's why Ohio is so F'ed
Another road loss to a team wearing some type of red.... A tight game all the way and Michigan has a chance to win in regulation, but didn't foul the Badger player with 2.4 seconds left. ......and of course, Wisconsin player hits probably the top sports center highlight three point shot to tie the game ...and then they won it in OT. Three tough games this week and another one coming up vs the Spartans Tuesday.
Looks like they need to get Jordan Morgan's ankle mended fast and get Glenn Robinson III back on track.
A great PG gets everybody involved with easy shots in sweet spots.... Our all world PG has not been making the rest of the team great lately, I think its a huge red mark on him being ready to jump to the NBA. The ball stalled just to much down the stretch again as the game ended.... Michigan needs to get back to having 5 scoring option on the floor, there playing to much like last year where its just the two scorers and three space holders...
There still in the hunt, and in great shape... but they have some issues they really need to get figured out if there going to make a great run in March Madness.
it's very rough at the top for every one. At least they're losing to ranked teams.
The top 5 changes every week because they are knocking off each other.
Looks like Sparty is in first place in the Big 10, the Wolverines play in them Tuesday..
Wisconsin got lucky since our last points came with 2.4 seconds left. Their circus shot from nearly half-court was a thing of ugly.
5 teams in the Big Ten right now with 2 or 3 losses. Interesting how the Spartans have crawled into the thick of things. With Izzo as their coach, this should surprize nobody. The 2013 Spartans basketball thread however, leaves much to be desired.
Beilein said the Wolverines missed out on 14 points thanks to missed layups.
"I'm not talking about when they're really contesting," Beilein said. "I'm talking about we had the ball, the basket and us, and it didn't go in."
I don't think Whisky is even top 25. I don't think Mich is top 5 !
