Izzo called it when he first encountered IU, their front court is deeper than either MS or UoM.

That post gets exponentially funnier every time someone else "likes" it.

I don't think so. UM still has a lot to prove. This is a redemption game. Wolverines by 15.

Penn State was the team that derailed them....agree redemption game. neutral court...should be more M fans there than Happy valley fans. Michigan plays better when Shoelaces is in the stands.....need to get him to the game to sit with big Dog and Tim Sr.

17 point victory as they completely controlled the second half after holding on to a 2 pt half time lead. Once again they started off rattled (well Morgan was) going down 14-3, before Mitch McGary came in and sparked the comeback via a 20-2 run. McG finished with a 10-10 in the first half.

Everyone contributed in the second half as Big 10 POY Burke finished with 21. Undefeated on neutral courts this season....M now faces the Badgers and they got to get over the hump, because although they are 6-0 in winning the first game of the B10 tourney under Bieline, they have yet to win game two and advance....

Thank you, Dre, for translating this. That is exactly what I meant.

By the way, if UM had beaten Penn State the first time around, they wouldn't have had to beat them on Thursday.

Off by 2. I'll continue my prognostications with a 12-point MSU win over Iowa tomorrow night.

When I tuned in M was up 18-10 with 3 mins left in the first half. Wisconsin was 5/29 shooting in the first half and the wolverines only had a 3 pt halftime lead......pitiful. Everyone from the announcers to the studio guys (including Jalen Rose) knew that Michigan was in trouble. The Badgers were 17/28 in the second half and proved all of the experts right.

The Badgers adjusted in the second half going inside and poor Jordan Morgan who has never recovered from the ankle injury at the end of January was no show on both offense and defense. Once again the freshman mcgary looked better, but neither could seem to be a force inside on either end of the court.

The issue with Michigan is their lack of bigs to block, grad boards or get the inside feed from Burke. If Glen Robinson and Stauskas are hitting, then Burke tries to do to much and we was bad in the beginning and decent in the end, but no one else.

So for the 7th year in a row under Bielin , Michigan is ousted in the second game of the Big 10 tourney. This time they got beat because they did not win this game in the first half when they had a chance to have a 15 pt lead at the break. Looks like the had a lot of rushed shots and nothing in the paint. In the second half the Badgers first went inside and then they start hitting the threes when the Wolverines started leaving guys open.

Looks like a 3rd seed for the wolverines and then probably second or third round exit...especially if they run into another big 10 team...
