There is method to my madness. Whoever got Drummond, would probably keep him as the rookie keeper (as long as he didn't stink) for 2 years. If he pans out, he might never ever be available again in this league because he's a homer pick.

Maybe Drummond becomes the new Bucket of Turd. I don't know. I just know in Keeper League, it is better to own a young player early than to hope you can acquire him later.

    I totally understand your logic.
I totally don't understand why you picked him a few spots before Anthony Davis.

While we're on the subject of young guys, I'm gonna flat-out predict that Damian Lillard wins PFKL rookie of the year award.

I agree. I went with MKG and Austin Rivers. The key is to be patient with these guys early....something I have often failed at....

I like Lillard, by the way. I drafted him for my advanced league team.

Because I don't care about Anthony Davis.

See, I have never had a Piston of note play well for my team. I think I had Rip once, and maybe Tay twice but Tay sucks. I think I flirted with a burned out Ben Wallace too.

Drummond is my chance to have a stud Piston on my team.

As much as Stuckey get drive me nuts, his fantasy numbers are actually pretty good. I might have picked Brandon Knight if he was available. I'm sure BDL will pick up Corey Magette in a few weeks.

I don't fully understand what "keeper league" means. But it's Ok. No prob.

We keep 3 players from our previous team each year. and one first or second year player for a total of 4.

For example, I drafted Lebron in the first year, and this is the 5th year and I still have him.

This is a partial look at my roster over 5 years. The years in red are years I won the championship.

    I can dig it.
For what it's worth, I'm telling Rufus to deploy the "hack a Dre" defense when we play you guys.

The biggest obstacle to Dre is Frank.

Well, technically, the biggest obstacle to Dre is me. I am the coach and GM of the Microwaves!

If you sit him you might miss out but if Frank sits him we all lose out. I think he's a good pick for keeper league.

Well, all I know is that roscoe has significantly upped the standard for graphics in this thread.

My team is almost the same as last year, which was good for regular season champ, and flameout in the playoffs.

This is my first post from the forum phone app.

My starters are almost the exact same, but this year I don't have JaValle McGhee or Tyson Chandler. I've replaced them with Roy Hibbert and Kris Humphries. Looks like I lose 1/2 a block and pickup 1 1/2 extra rebounds per game.

I also switched out Raymond Felton for Arron Afflalo. I lose a few assists, but pick up more threes.

Not sure if it's enough to win... may be making some deals this season.

Nice pick-up of Beal. I was going to get him this morning...didn't think anyone would use a waiver on him. You guys aren't messing around this season. Good work!!
