He managed to assist Phillys game tier with a kick and miss a break away with 1 min left. I wonder what went through his head during the break before OT. :pound:

Congratulations Hammer Hjalmarsson! The first player from my old club Eksjö HC to win the Lord Stanley. (to be honest the first player from EHC to play in the NHL, the swedish elite series and any other high level ;))

The horn beeping here is really irritating.

I know that I'm not a Chicagoan yet as I was rooting for the Flyers to force a game 7.

I will try to time in my visit at my parents (in Eksjö) at the same time as Hammer brings the cup. I promise you pictures if this happens. Would be nice to have touched or atleast seen the Lord Stanley up close. :)

I saw the Cup once in Denver in the summer of 1996 after the Avs won it. They had it on display at some hotel with a bunch of other hockey memorabilia. I just happen to be in town meeting with an employee, and she took me by there. I remember standing in line for about 30 minutes to get in....I got a picture of it that is some where in the garage.:sssh:

The good thing about Eksjö (10k people) is that even if Hammer so brings the holy grail we wouldn't see 30 minute lines.
