Greg Jones dropped a lot and will be a steal for the Giants, I think.

Chris Rucker will get into trouble and won't last long regardless of his talent.

I don't think anyone other than him thought they were going to do much better than somewhere at the lower end of the top 25, anyhow. AT BEST!

    Detroit misses him...

Although, admittedly, he did make a couple of Oopsy Daisy's now and then...

SI is rumored to be releasing an expose on OSU tomorrow.

It would be sweet if Dantonio could land a few of their 4 and 5 star commits, if they are allowed to decommit :fingerscr. This certainly seems like a great opportunity for MSU recruiting

Coaching Speculation already beginning at OSU...

Here's one name that could be considered...

Michigan State's Mark Dantonio was Tressel's defensive coordinator from 2001-03 and helped the Buckeyes win the 2002 national title. Dantonio has rebuilt Michigan State into a tough program en route to going 33-19 in four seasons. Another Ohio native (Zanesville), Dantonio also served as a graduate assistant at Ohio State from 1983-84. But he's 55 and had a heart attack last September. He's also 0-4 in bowl games at Michigan State.

The new hire would take over in 2012...not this coming season.

They're going with an assistant coach for this season.
Probably because they need to find out sanctions first before the coach is considered. They could be severe...scholarships, forfitures, no bowl games.

They will hit them only as hard as they feel they must. OSU is a favored child of the NCAA. But USC will be monitoring this very closely.

S.I. may be worth the money this week with it's damning article about OSU's Tressel...

BuckeyeGrove.com - SI article alleges more scandal

Going deeper into the memorabilia acquired by Rife, the story mentioned that quarterback Terrelle Pryor provided at least 20 items by himself, including game worn shoulder pads, helmets, cleats, jerseys and game pants. These items reportedly came from the team's equipment room. When asked how he was able to obtain all the equipment, Pryor supposedly responded, "I get what I want."

    I call that stealing..........:gun1:

    This is gonna get UGLY...........:gun1:

Tressel and Pryor will end up buying a Pawn Shop...........:)

    They may forfiet some wins.......:)

Am I crazy, or does this sound like a textbook case of "lack of institutional control"?

They aren't going to be taken really seriously on a national level until they learn how to win a bowl game. Until MSU can do that the fans can't complain too much.

MSU is a much better team than they were in the past and it is much more entertaining to follow them. But when it is time to play a really good conference team they embarrass themselves and prove that they cannot compete on that level.

Too early in the year for me to start new college football threads clown fish.
